I have some problems with the translator,
I cant type anything in the fields. on my friends computer it works fine, but not on mine
I am running windows vista 64 bit, i have tried Firefox and internet explorer..

Are you sure you have selected a language to translate into?
That is usaly the cause to the problem you describe – hope it helps you

There seems to be a problem with NiceTranslator. I have used it in the past with no problems, but for some reason today it dose not seem to be working properly. For one thing, the green Tumble banner at the bottom appears to be blocking some of the languages, and when I try to add more than two languages, they do not come up.

For instance, If I put Vietnamese and French, I can see the Vietnamese but nothing for the French. because the Tumble banner is blocking it. And if I add Greek and Ukraine, the word Greek will appear beneath the the Tumble banner, but the when I try to add Ukraine to the list, the word Greek gets removed.

Also, when I type something in English, and I want it to translate into Greek, it comes up in English instead of Greek.

All of this seems to have started today.

First time user. How do I paste the translation into a word doc or e-mail? Straightforward highlight/select and copy does not appear to work.

What screen resolution are you using?

I am having a problem with ¨Ads by Google¨ blocking the light-green NT menu. Three of the four columns are obscured and rendered unusable. The native resolution of my netbook´s display is 800×480.

Excuse a possible double-post — I first thought an ¨Advertising¨ section to be appropriate, but this is more of a technical, page design problem. I´m having a bit of difficulty navigating back to check the other post — possibly because I can´t see the menu under the Google ad panel … ?

Thanks for any help from the designers, who may have never thought to view their site in this resolution …

The speed of translating is very good, but when I tried to translate from English, to Arabic or Swedish or doing the opposed unfortunately the result I got were not 100% accurate, dose not read the numbers in different languages too, so it is good only for getting a slit idea about the paragraph you want to translate, and it is good for translate single word at a time.

Has there been any changes in the program since yesterday? Suddently the program does not translatate danish very good and I can not use danish letters æ,ø,å. Usually the program translate danish fairly good. The program also looks different than before. I use this fantastic tool very much so I hope you can help me.

Great function – easy to use. Though I have a problem. If too much text the words are hidden behind the green space where you can see the options! Can I move/remove or minimize the green space?

I wrote a question in “Write about NT” the 6th Aug. 2009, and I did not get an answer.
I will then try in “About”, “Comments” & “Help”, to see if I get lucky with an answer.

I have a problem with your nice web site. When I have placed the words, and want to see the result below, I cannot, because of this nagging green screen, where you for instance can click on Tumble, Comments, About, Help etc… I am using 800×600 resolution, and I am very happy with this resolution. How can I get rid of this screen or lower it, so I can see the results.

Just want to let you know I’ve received this comment and I am working on a solution for you and other 800×600 users. I would be interested in the rest of the 800×600 experience as well. The NT baseline is 1024×768, but I would still like to do the best we can for lower resolutions. What browser are you using?

How can I send a mail when I´m have typing ?

I’m trying to use NT by an MacBook Pro. My browser is Safari, but NT don’t work. I have used NT some months ago without any problem. After chenge of user interface, I can’t translate anything. I select the language of translation and source language (the autodetect don’t work), but when I type in the original language NT don’t translate. I haven’t nay problem using WIN and Explorer. Could you help me please?

I’m trying to install NiceTranslator on my blog (WordPress), but I have no idea of how to do it.
Could you please explain it step by step for a non-geek user?

I’d be happy to explain:

1) Go here and download the plugin: http://nicetranslator.com/blog/tools/wordpress-plugin
2) Unzip the ntplugin folder and upload it to your WordPress plugins directory (/wp-content/plugins)
3) Go to you plugin control panel in WordPress and enable Nice Translator
4) Go to Settings -> Nice Translator to change any settings about how NT will appear on your blog

Let me know how it goes, I’d love to see the plugin in action on your site!

I love your web site and really appreciate having it available to me but am having one constant problem when using the english/hebrew conversion. The name Michael is properly translated to מיכאל However, when i type the name Michael as part of a sentence instead of a singular name your translator always gives me מייקל. Please help. Thank you in advance.

How come you don’t have any Bosnia translations?

Am on a Mac using Safari. I love this site and enjoy using it, however, i have run into a problem. I seem to be able to add a tremendous amount of languages for translation but when i want to delete them from the selected ones there doesnt seem to be a way. I do notice, however, on your sample page that next to the word Translators it has the word ADD/REMOVE, giving one options, my screen doesnt show those options at all. Thank you in advance. Fal

I have tried numerous times to type in Baruj ata Adonai eloheinu and Baruj ata elohei avoteinu and have set the language to be translated into as English. Otherwise, translating this Hebrew into English. But when the only thing that keeps coming up in English is the Hebrew. I have tried this over and over again. I’ve made this site work before, but now it does not seem to be working. I have the same computer. A Windows Vista 64 HP laptop, a very expensive relatively new laptop. Please advise.

why isn’t there an option to add transtion to your website?
For example, myomectomy which is a standard operation world wide has a specific translation in Hebrew and I would like to add this to your DB. There is no way that I can
Try to add some “feedback” or simliar as well and this would be a great way to harness the “crowds” to such terrific product and have additional power to the translation.

It still works perfectly with IE.

hi! i dont know why, but it dont work. i write somethink in chat and this program dont translate, nothink happen…. wtf?

Can’t add Translators. So it’s even worse then before, sorry !

Still can’t keep the cursor in the typing box. When want use capital letters cursor jumps out of it and when stop writing for couple seconds the cursor also jump out of it.
Also the ‘Esc’ button is for delete the text in the box & start over again, also that doesn’t work, o wrote u couple mail yesterday about those topics !!

NT was great for a very little while then it started heading downhill. Today was the third time in a row it pretended that I was new to it and wanted me to add my languages again, which I did. Then I started typing and absolutely NOTHING happened. It doesn’t work at all any more.

I use XP Home edition and Google chrome is my browser.

Now can type with using capital letters, it also translate in different languages at same time. Only one thing.
The cursor go out of the writing-box immediately when we start typing, can’t type again cause it’s completely out of the writing field. If that is fixed, then most problem will be fixed i guess. I hope it can be done. Only that the cursor stay in the write-box when stop writing pls.
Nothing else have to change, only that cursor dissappear when stop writing.

Also when go to another screen and then go back to the translator, have to add Again languages. So they also don’t stay there after we added languages !!!
